Guest house and B&B

Wells-next-the-Sea

We are a small family run B&B in the centre of beautiful Wells next the Sea in North Norfolk. We are a short walk to the seafront and to all the great eateries and pubs. Our newly refurbished guest house has comfy new beds, free wifi and free parking. All our breakfast ingredients are locally sourced or homemade.

We have a separate accommodation on the same site, so we are around to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible.

Dog friendly

We love dogs and in fact have 2 small ones of our own. We have an enclosed garden for dogs to play in and we are working on a separate dining, lounge area for people with dogs which opens out onto the garden. With all the beautiful walks and scenery on the North Norfolk coast, it would be a shame to leave your dog at home. There are some rules and additional charges may apply.

Accessibility

The building has been adapted over the years but was estimated to have been built around 1900. This means that we aren’t able to adapt it to be suitable for wheelchair users. However, we have a ground floor double and a ground floor single room.

Environment

We don’t use single use plastics in our guest house. We don’t want to contribute to the plastic that is ending up in our seas. We have refillable toiletries in the rooms to save on waste. All our room tea and coffee etc is in glass jars and the milk is contained in a small thermos bottle to keep it chilled and fresh. All our food is locally sourced.

Facilities

• All ensuite shower rooms, except 1 room which has a private bathroom (with bath) across the hall. This room has dressing gowns provided.

• Towels and linen

• Key

• Hairdryer

• Clock radio

• Free Wifi

• Free parking

• Refreshments tray in room– tea & coffee etc

Wells next the Sea

We think Wells next the Sea has everything you need for the perfect UK getaway. Norfolk is known for its big skies. There are miles and miles of beautiful coastal walks. The beaches are golden sand and most are dog friendly (there are separate areas that are dog free). There are lots of things to do come rain or shine. There is a bus service into Norwich for a spot of shopping, or there is the Coast Hopper which will take you to other attractions along the coast. Wells itself has many lovely restaurants and cafes. The newly built Maltings has a cinema and art centre.
